Sandra Bin Laden.Was channel surfing in the bus on the way to work a few days back when i heard DJ Glenn Ong mention something about bloggers. I tuned in just in time to hear him label bloggers as "sad", "pathetic", "full of nonsense", and "people who should get a life". He went on to criticise 'scantily clad' girls who use the media to 'get attention'. And together with the flying dutchman, they declared that bloggers are a "threat to national security" and that they should continue to "moniter blogs closely"
If u're not laughing/feeling flabbergasted already, you deserve a conk on the head. I was giggling non-stop in the bus, and by lunchtime, i'd already started picturing an imaginery interview in my head.
Glenn: You bloggers are full of nonsense.
Me: you're proof that people don't need blogs to be full of nonsense.
Glenn: I hate attention seekers who pose for sexy pictures.
Me: Erm.... didn't you marry Jamie Yeo?
Glenn: You bloggers are a threat to national security! You should all register yourselves with IDA so we can keep an eye on you!
Me: I think so too.
Glenn: *surpised* You do? Me: Yup. 2 months ago i blogged about how upset i was with a guy friend. He got angry after reading it and tell you, he is a pilot from SAF! what if he couldn't control his anger and purposely divulged top secret gov info to Afghanistan? What if that couldn't dissapate his anger and he decides to commit suicide by flying a fighter jet straight into the guys' toilet in Great World City?
When it happens, some people will die, of course. And worse, all the angmohs will have no place to pee. All bcos of me. Thus, i am a threat to national security.
Glenn: I knew it! so now you admit it huh... and whats this on the floor? A bomb??? Cleverly disguised, i must say...but that can't fool me!
Glenn:..... what's this ticking sound? Oh no! the bomb's going off! Run for your lives everyone, RUN!!!
*CHI BA BOM*
Me: Hiak Hiak Hiak.
