Want to torture me? Send me flowers.Hello all,
It's been some time since my last entry. Thankew, thankew for all the emails and concern. Been kind of busy for the past few weeks,had to tie up some loose ends and scream at some annoying ppl, but yup i'm back! :D
Okay i just cannot resist blogging about this. I know its V day, and everyone's all in a very lovey-dovey mood, but I'm really feeling very annoyed. I absolutely hate receiving flowers, i really do hate it. . Not to sound like a spoilt brat or anything, i know it's a nice gesture and all, but it is so depressing looking at dead plants sitting on my desk.
Don't get me wrong, I adore flowers. I think they're gorgeous, especially pink roses, but it has always been my firm belief that flowers belong in the wild, not chopped up and bunched into bouquets. Just fyi, flowers are living things too, you know. How would you like it if i chopped off your legs, soak the remaining stumps in wet cotton wool, wrap them up and send u to some screaming girl who'll probaly spit all over you? And there's a difference between flowers withering naturally and fields of flowers grown and sold just for a day deemed to be special.
Bleah. It's all overrated, overhyped. Love is all around, all year round. And if you have to give me flowers, please, fly me to the countryside and show me the view :D
Gotta run, will be back later. Huggies to all the singles out there. Lets all stay home tonight and watch TV together. :P
