Just a quick update before heading out....I'm still in the midst of trudging through the applications. The process may take a day or two (i still have other things to do you know :P), so stay tuned :)
Being adventurous has its price. I've heard differing views across the blogosphere; my last post has been hugely controversial. Some think that i'm whoring for attention, others are impressed by my "aggressiveness" but yet they stand firm that this is something they would never do. I may not agree, but i understand. I understand that this is not a conventional way of getting dates, but it is nevertheless effective. I understand that people may be uncomfortable with unconventionality. I understand it is inevitable that people may diss what i'm doing; after all, it is in our nature to associate comfort with traditions and routine. But i also know i can attempt to please the audience till i turn blue in the face, and still not succeed.
An applicant remarked that despite readers knowing much more about me than i realize, i know nothing about them. Well this experience has given me an opportunity to interact with my blog readers on a more personal basis, and now i'm reassured that not all of them are cheeko ah peks. heh ;P
Ok lah ok lah, i shall quit beating around the bush and just get it over with. I guess what i'm trying to say is, Thank you. Thank you for all the applications. Thank you, blog readers for the concerned emails ("this is totally out of character for you - are you okay?") Besides being crazily whimsical, i'm fine :)
Oh, and screw those who sent me naked pictures. BURN IN HELL YOU IDIOTS.
This post is getting a lil *ahem* emotional. it's 10.30pm. I shld stop being such a wuss and go get ready for a night out in town. ta!
