I've got a sneaking suspicion that men are sharing some kind of guidebook. Been hearing the same things over and over again, it's almost like being in a nightmare that repeats itself periodically.
I think you're "special"
Guy: "I think you're special."
Me (raises an eyebrow) : "Really? special? in what way?
Guy: "Errrrr. Don't know how to put it. Just special lor"
Me: "Hmmmm........ but there must be something that makes me special right?"
Guy: "heheh, i'm not very good with words, i just feel that you are lor."
Me: -----_____------"
Me: "Okay byebye."
Note: That is a very clever trick. Telling a woman you're not good with words gives her the impression that you're the honest blur-king type who doesn't flirt.
2. "I just have this feeling about you."
Guy: "I just have this feeling about you."
Me (skeptical look) : "Really? What kind of feeling?
Guy: "Erm, just a kind of feeling lor. how to say ah.....*pretends to think*
Me: "Tired? Irritated? Constipated?"
Guy: "nonono, ..... aiya its just a feeling lor. Feelings cannot be explained one leh"
Me : "If i'm looking for an explanation i would ask why. i only asked you what kind of feeling wad."
Guy (tries to look cute but fails): "But I really have no idea what's the feeling leh.... "
Me: "So you have no idea what you're feeling?"
Guy (uncertainly): "Erm..... yeahhhhhh......"
Me: "Since you don't know what you're feeling, then how can you be so sure that you're feeling what you're feeling?"
Guy (confused) : "Errr ok.... maybe.........but wait, its a................... special kind of feeling. (triumphantly) AHA! that's why i can't name it. It's special mah"
Me (thinks: huhh....special again): ----____----"
Me: "Okay Byebye."
