Saw a stray dog while walking home last night.I couldn't see that clearly, but he looked like a purebred black labrador.
There was just something about him. (i assumed that its a male)
He was limping along the path down the park to the playground, and looked up with sullen eyes as i slowly approached.
i reached down and stroked his head gently.
He started rubbing his head against my hand and made a sad whiny noise.
And I teared.
Just like that.
I couldn't help it.
He was skinny, dirty, and probably hungry and cold. So i brought him over to my uncle's shop and fed him with tons of doggy treats.
As he munched on the snacks on my hand, i started thinking.
I know it would be impossible for me to take him home (i already have a dog, and my guardian wld flip out)
I know there're still tons of stray dogs out there, and there is pretty much nothing i can do to prevent people from abandoning their pets.
But how do you walk away from a homeless dog?
I had to.
And i did.
I got up and started to walk home again, and he followed me.
I got into the lift and he was just sitting outside the lift, looking at me.
As the lift door closed, i teared for the second time last night.
I'm such a meanie. Not to mention wuss. -_-"
*shakes finger*

Lucky: I'm also very ke lian k. You never take me out for walks.
On a happier note, I spent most of yesterday making pineapple tarts together with dee and pammie in honour of the upcoming Chinese New Year. And i don't mean to brag, but they were absolutely delicious! More baking on friday, tag me if you want some ;)
P.S: lucas, i didn't think of clubbing on the first day of Chinese New Year. Just assumed that i'll be spending the whole night playing blackjack with my relatives. Haha. But that's an interesting idea. No zouk for me though. =P
