Old fogey lecturer aka Mr Potato head was droning on and on about wireless digital communications when syiqin suddenly turned to me and said "Do you realize that we're turning 20 this year?"I widened my eyes in realization and fear. Then i stood up. And stripped. Buck naked.
Haha kidding. Of course i didn't do that. That was just a childish joke to show you how un-20ish i am. =P
You're right Dave, i_have_been blogging less often. Not because I've got nothing to blog about, but it just seemed a little inappropriate to blog in light of the tsunami crisis. Was kind of caught in a dilemma; i'd heard so much about the tsunami that i would rather eat glass than blog about it. But yet it would be highly obnoxious of me to ignore the recent happenings, stay in my own little world and talk rubbish like i always do ;)
Anyways, as cliche as this sounds, I've never felt closer to the ppl around me. Friends, family.......and all. =) It's amazing how disasters, though horrible and destructive, brings ppl together in a way nothing else does.
Having my honeys over for dinner now, made enough stuffed cabbage rolls to feed an army =P Vonnie's reading "Handbook for the Motorcycle Rider" (she's gonna get her riding license, or so she says =X), Dee's looking for a part-time job (finally!) and Iannie's watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S as usual. It's just a quiet Friday night, and 2 months ago i would've been aghasted at the idea of staying at home. But right now... I feel like that's all i need.
