"Hey, what's your New Year's Resolution?"If 1 more person asks me that.... -_-"
One of my NYRs last year was to have an all rounded life. Do well in my studies, Busy social life, Happy love life. Well.... its 2 outta 3 anyway. =P
Why do ppl make NYRs anyway? Does it serve as extra motivation for us to achieve the things we've always wanted to? On the other hand, how many NYRs have YOU fulfilled? Are NYRs all talk and no action? Well i don't mind. That way, I'll never run out of NYRs, on the basis of the fact that it'll be the same one every year. =P
Maybe it's easier to look forward to the year ahead when u have a NYR. Before the novelty wears off, that is. For those of you who disagree, quick qn for ya.
A: "I'll try to do one nice deed for someone everyday. It's gonna be a great year *smiles*"
VS
B: "New year new year lor. Sian. Someone pass me the remote control pls."
Well..... which would you rather be? =)
I know i'm not making much sense right now. BAH.
Anyway, to prevent any redundant pressure in my life, my New Year Resolution this year is....
to NOT have any New Year resolutions for the rest of my life. Live... and let live! ^_^
