Montag, November 22, 2004 Screw dieting and Xtrim and Xando and every can of diet coke in the world. I had 6 packets of rice today and i'm proud of it.Yesh i'm in a grumpy mood now. And i shall grump about dieting. Makaned at Mos Burger with a friend ( who shall remain annoymous for obvious reasons ) and i had my usual order of Ebi Rice burger meal, A chilli dog, and a large strawberry Milkshake. She ordered a garden salad and watched longingly while i devoured everything, which by the way, was not a pleasant sight. Why do women worry about their weight so? And the more pressing qn : Why do they diet the wrong way, and for all the wrong reasons? For most women, having an hourglass figure is essential to appeal to our hate-them-but-can't-live-without-them half. It's not a crime to want to look our best. ( i spent a whole 20 mins in front of the mirror before my last date) . But when dieting becomes an obsession, maybe it's time to stop fighting our needs and start embracing them. ( not sexual needs, mind you. I'm talking about FOOD =P ). And furthermore, who's to judge who's hot, and who's not? At the risk of sounding cheesy, I quote "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". So if you weigh 200 pounds, don't worry. Somebody out there loves you. But you should probably exercise abit. ;) I think having a small tummy is sexy. And cute. It's rounded, smooth and fits perfectly in the palm of a hand. =) After all, we can't all be supermodels. | | Permalink
