Yup its officially 24 hours to my next paper. Haven't prayed in a long time and i did at 4am this morn. 8th May, puh lease.....come quickly! You noe how time seems to slow down whenever you want it to pass quickly. It's killing me!

Well so many things to look forward to, my class chalet, zouk, possibly a watersports vacation to Bintan, and I can't wait to run camps again. As much as I always complain about how tired i am and how rowdy are the kids, I still do love making the difference in their lives. It's that moment where they've conquered the challenge pole, the look on their faces...the excited words of encouragement from them to their friend trembling up there, the little moments of caring and sharing when you least expect it. Once there was this little boy named Brian i think, he was kind of overweight and all his classmates made fun of him all the time, laughing at him struggling at the rock climbing wall.

On the last day of the camp, i wld usually write a note to everyone in their camp booklet. So i wrote a long one to him. It went something like "You''re the one who has learnt the most from this camp. Not only conquering yr fear of heights, but you've shown courage by ignoring the mean comments from your mates and keeping yr head high. Whatever they say, thats okay, coz i do believe in you." He had tears in his eyes when he said "nobody has ever told me that i'm brave. Thank you" I had to fight back the tears welling up in my eyes. After all i couldn't possibly cry in front of him.

But this made me realize that sometimes people just need a little praise and encouragement, just a simple gesture may make a world of difference. It's just so easy to just say "Well Done!" or even give a person a pat of encouragement on the back, but often, we're stingy with that. Well to Dan, thats the reason why I do camps okay? Yesh despite the low pay and tough working conditions. I know it sounds corny, but not only do the kids learn, I always learn something new about myself too.

To dan: Can't believe that we were actually childhood friends. You used to call me fatty bom-bom when we were little rem? hahah~ Well i used to be chubby when i was a kid, but not now k! =X K let me show you some pics.

Alright this is me on my 2nd bdae, in a frilly dress and all. Chubby-City!!

Well this is me receiving a prize on sports day. And oh yes that's you behind me! haha~ you look so bleah!

And this is me now....well can see that the baby fats on my face haven't gone away......

Hmm well thats all folks, time to hit the books again...tata!
